The terms that apply when you use this website and our automated replies on X.

1. Agreement

By using www.localsiteshop.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. If you hire us for work, the written agreement for that work is separate from these terms and prevails where it differs.

2. What we provide

• Web design and hosting services for local businesses, sold by separate written agreement and quote.
• Free tools and information on this site, including the website checker, the guides and the website health study. These are provided as-is, at no charge, for you to use however you like.
• An account on X (Twitter) that replies to mentions from our maintainer allowlist.

3. Acceptable use of the free tools

The website checker fetches the address you give it so it can report on it. You agree not to:

• use it to attack, overload, or disrupt any site or network, including through automated or high-volume requests;
• use it for anything unlawful, or in a way that breaches a third party's terms or access controls;
• attempt to circumvent the rate limits or otherwise interfere with the service for others;
• republish our guides, articles or study at scale without permission.

We rate-limit the checker, log minimal details as described in our Privacy Policy, and may block access that behaves this way.

4. Our X account and automated replies

• Replies from our X account may be produced by an automated assistant. We review and remain responsible for what we publish there.
• Replies are public. Do not mention us with information you need kept private.
• We reply only to maintainers on our allowlist. We may stop replying to any account at any time.
• Nothing we publish is professional advice, and you should check anything that matters before acting on it.

5. Our content and your content

We own the design, code, articles, guides and study on this site, and the trade marks and branding used on it. You may quote and link to our pages with attribution.

Where you give us content for a website we build for you, you keep ownership of it and give us permission to use, host and display it for the purpose of delivering that work. You confirm you have the right to give us that content.

6. Third-party sites

This site links to other websites, including X (Twitter). We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Following a link is your decision.

7. Availability and changes

The free tools are provided on an as-available basis. We may change, suspend or withdraw them at any time. We will try to keep the site working, but we do not promise it will never be down or that a check will always be accurate.

8. Disclaimer

The free tools and information are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Check results are a snapshot of one moment and can be wrong. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LocalSiteShop is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the free tools or your reliance on their output.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

9. Ending use

You can stop using the site at any time. We may limit or block access where these terms are broken or where use risks the site or others on it.

10. Liability

Where our liability is not excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business or indirect loss.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the site.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any right you have to bring proceedings where you live.
