What this check actually does
We load your address the way a customer's phone does, then look at the four things that decide whether someone can use your site.
- Does the domain still resolve, or is it pointing nowhere.
- Does the server answer at all, or has the hosting lapsed or been switched off.
- Does the page come back normally, or serve an error page instead of your business.
- Is the page built for a phone screen and fast enough that nobody gives up waiting.
What the result means
Three outcomes, in plain terms.
- Working: the site answered and nothing obvious is wrong. Nothing to do today.
- Loads but has problems: it responds, but it is hard to use on a phone, slow, or still showing an unfinished page. Customers are quietly leaving.
